On the south Italian coasts the ancient Greeks founded many colonies. One of them was on the shores South of Salerno. The ruins of the town Paestum show three among the most beautiful Greek temples still standing. They tell us ancient stories of hot-tempered gods, of their passionate loves and hates, and of the rituals that human beings had to do in order to get on their right side. In a small but well organized museum you will see several handiworks and the wonderful painted Diver’s Tomb from 5th century AD.
